Description

The air filter is commonly called the aftermarket air filter. Installs into the vehicle's original air box to replace the OEM air filter. It is made from high-performance materials that allow for greater airflow combined with more efficient filtration, ensuring all impurities are contained to as little as 7 microns (vs. OEM's 10 microns).

BMC air filters are manufactured with a Full Molding system that allows the characteristic red filter to be made from a single mold without welded joints, thus preventing easy breakage. The rubber used in BMC air filtration systems has a long service life, is highly durable and has excellent adhesion characteristics to all forms of air boxes.

BMC filters are made from multi-layer cotton gauze soaked in low viscosity oil and covered with an epoxy coated alloy mesh to ensure protection against gasoline fumes and oxidation due to moisture in the air.

All BMC air filters are pre-lubricated and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.
